Pre School!

Well I put both the kids in preschool, different schools same hours! I get two hole hours to just me and Mason, it's kinda weird and eerily quiet without them!! Matt starts kindergarten next school year and they don't have preschool out there in HI that we can afford. So I thought while we are here this would help pre pare him for ALL day school! Matt goes to the Peak and Peyton goes out in Perry to Teeter Tot's Academy. I've been asked quite a few times if I want to switch Peyton to the 4 yr old class because she is so smart! Today I didn't know they didn't have school so when we got there they said if I wanted I could test Peyton just to see where she's at. They had two test's one for the kids going into kindergarten and one for the younger kids. They gave her the older yes. She did awesome, matched all her animals counted to 11 on her own  knew her colors and alpha bet knew which letter was witch along with numbers. She knew when to pick the bigger or smaller item. They had to count how many stars there were on the picture then match the right number to it, she did awesome! I wish I could start her in kindergarten next year. But I know she's not completely ready. She doesn't quiet have the attention span for it, I had to leave out of view during her test because I was to distracting. She also got board with her test and stopped answering the questions. I'm interested to see where Matt is with all this, he struggles with things and gets frustrated really quickly and gives up. He's a smart kid he just needs to work a little harder at things than Peyton does.

Peyton loves throwing "snowbonks" after school. She was really sad when she came out today and it was all melted.

Happy kids

I had happy kids for awhile, now they almost cry every night because they miss there daddy. I don't get much sleep these days. As soon as I get Mason to sleep one of the other kids wakes ups crying, and because Matt and Peyton share a room right now they usually wake the other one up. So it's a never ending cycle of getting kids to sleep for the night. There in bed by eight, i'm usually in bed by 9 but I don't get to actually go to sleep until about 12-1.
Anyway here are some pictures of my happy kids....during the day! I know most of them are of Mason, what can I say he's easy to get to smile!!

Mason loves the camera, when he sees the orange light turn on on my camera he start squealing and smiling!

                                                                 "Super Peyton!"

                                                     Being kinda shy

She found a pair of grandmas old glasses, she had fun with these for awhile.

We went out to Wayne's parents house for a few days before he left to Maryland. The kids love to go help feed the cows and ride in the tractor with Grandpa. Matt helped his grandma make pizza one night. He was a very good helper.

Mason was also excited for Pizza

Oh and we can't forget Dixie! Peyton just LOVES Dixie. She named her black dog from Build A Bear Dixie

A Few I Forgot

Here are a few photos I didn't get to post before we left. We were stuck in the house most of the day this day. It was the day before we flew home, Christmas eve. The president decided he needed to go golfing on base. So of course I really needed to run to the commissary to grab a couple treats for the kids flight. Well the two minuet drive to the store ended up being about a 10 minuet drive because I had to go the long way around along with everyone else on base! Also we had ordered pizza the night before and had to cancel it because the base was shut down because the president had just landed. So luckily we had a Papa Johns on base....unfortunately for me and the kids we wanted Pizza Hut! So thanks Mr President you made my poor kids dinner late and late for bed!

Right outside my dining room window. We had probably the whole neighbor hood out there yelling hi to the president. Thanks Mr President you made your "fans" wake up my sleeping baby!

Christmas in UT

Well we left  Hawaii on the 25th of December. We left on the red eye flight, and like I said in my other post it was originally just me going and then last minute we all ended up going. So I went on one fight from  HI to Vegas with Mason. Well with all the time changes we didn't catch that my flight from Vegas to AZ was for the 25th....I didn't get to Vegas until the morning of the 26th because I left HI at 11:30 on the 25th. We just weren't thinking. So I get to Vegas to check in and they said um...your flight was for yesterday....Ok great, now what do I do?! I can't stay in an airport with an infant who is on a bottle and only has 3 left. The lady was really nice and hooked us up with a non stop flight to SLC instead of stoping in AZ as originally planned. And let me tell you taking an infant, a backpack, a double strollers a car seat and a boppy is not an easy thing to haul through the airport by your self. Now where was Wayne your wondering. Well he, Peyton and Matt flew to Seattle the Oregon and then UT or to ORegon and then Seattle and down...something like that. Anyway we all finally made it. Wayne's flight got to UT an hour after mine so it all worked out.
So once we all finally got to my parents house the kids immediately got to open there gift from my parents. Hey they loved getting a second Christmas. SO many toys while daddy was gone mid October to mid November then Christmas and a second Christmas. Now they think they get a new toy every time we go to the store! Spoiled kids!

Mason all ready for his first flight!!

Matt is into his super hero's and cars. My mom got him 2 transformers. Bumble Bee and Optimus Prime!

Another Rapunzel Doll!!! This was a late gift from Wayne and I to her.

In her Grammies Jammies. I couldn't get Matt to hold still long enough for a picture.

She LOVES tutu's!! She calls them her "princessness"
