Playing with Dad

For being out in the sun ALL day and only getting a ten minuete nap Matt sure was in a great mood that night. He had been in the sun from 10:30 in the morning until about 6 pm. This is the same day he played in the sprinklers and went to the battle fields.

No it's not soda, we filled it up with ice water when we went out for the day.

Yelling "mom" when i'm a foot infront of him.

Posing for the camera

Cheese!

Giving kisses

Another Warm Weekend

Wow it sure got warm out here quick! We went from rainy and in the 50's to 94 degrees in about two days!
So we pulled out Matt's sprinkler again this weekend. We took him out at about 10:30 and it was already 85 degrees. We later went down to Fredricksburg to the battlefields. Wayne's sister is here still and she wanted to see it. Not to fun for the pregnant lady though. It ended up being 94 degrees out!

Wayne went out to set up the sprinkler and Matt thought he was being left behind.

Matt had so much fun with these phones. He got on and started chatting away.

What can I say I'm finally getting around to getting all these books done!

Matt's First Year Book

Our Wedding Book
Not sure I like this one though. I'm thinking I might change to a black and white themed book instead. Any opinions?

New Addiction!

Ok so I saw this on a friends blog and decided to try it. Now I am addicted to scrapbloging! It's so so much easier than regular scrap booking. I don't have to worry about the mess or Matt getting into all the stuff.

Digital Scrapbooking.

Warm Weekend

We had a nice warm weekend. We got up to 80 degrees so we broke out Matt's sprinkler he got for his Birthday last year. He had a blast and threw the biggest fit when we came in. I ended up taking over 120 pictures of him playing in the sprinklers, but I promise I'm not going to post them all!

What a Silly Boy

Matt took his sippie cup and ball into his hamper with him! He thought this was great fun.

Matt Just Can't Get Enough Popcorn!

Wayne thought this was weird that Matt would lick the popcorn bag. I didn't think so because I used to do this too!

A Care Package For Matt

Wayne and I decided to make a care package for Matt for when we go to the hospital. He's going to have a hard time not know why mom and dad are gone so long. We got him a box set of Thomas the Train Engine on DVD, crayon's, coloring book, fruit snacks, yogurt snacks and some Mini Oreo's. Wayne's sister Lynette is out here with us to watch Matt and help us out when the baby get's here. She's been great! Today I came down (after Matt and I got up from out nap) to clean the kitchen, but she had done it for me. It was so nice of her to do that. It's hard to clean with With Matt in there and nobody to watch him. So thanks again Lynette for doing that.

Matt's Black Eye

The other night I was tickling Matt and I saw a huge black a red spot on his eyelid. At first I thought he had a big gash and called for Wayne to come and look at it. Then I noticed it wasn't a gash but it was a black eye. It looked like it hurt a lot. We don't know how he got it or when it happened. He never cried when he hurt it. We think maybe it was the night before when Matt came into our bed. I had woken up to find Wayne's elbow on Matt's face and so I moved it. Or that same night he had hit his head on the headboard which he does alot. But either one he never cried.
So I have tried to get a good picture of it but none of the pictures look as bad as it really was.

My Little Helper.

Matt is becoming quite the little helper around the house. The other day he unloaded all the silverware and put them away for me. Of course he put them all in the knife drawer but he tried. Next he helped me put the laundry in to the dryer. later he helped put away all his toys and tried to help fold he laundry.

Poor Dogs

The other day I crated Sophie for getting into trouble. I was in the other room cleaning up the mess and Matt was in scolding Sophie for getting into trouble and then all of a sudden he started laughing. Then a few minuets later he started laughing hysterically, so I went in to see what he was laughing at. I found a poor frightened Sophie being pushed around the kitchen in her crate. Matt though this was really funny and now every time we crate the dogs he wants to push them around the room.

Making Progress

Well I went into the doctors yesterday expecting to still be at a 1. I was a 1 with Matt for three weeks, so I was surprised to be at a two already. Unfortunately they won't induce until 42 weeks unless I had the diabetes. Too bad I don't have it this time. But if I haven't had the baby by next Tuesday when I go in again then she is going to strip the membranes and hopefully that will work. I keep thinking this baby is going to be here on the 15th. I don't know why but that's when I'm expecting her to come. So we'll see if my gut feeling is right or not.

New Video

This is Peyton's video so far. Obviously it's not done but I thought I would show what I have done.

Maternity Photo's

I decided to get Maternity photo's done this pregnancy. I didn't do them with Matt and I'm still glad about that. I only did it this time because they were free. Wayne's friend at work did them for us. She won the DC Shoot Off this year. She is a really good photographer. She doesn't have any baby photo's or Maternity so she did them for us for free in return she gets to use them in her portfolio. She is also going to take the newborn photo's for us. It's a good thing Wayne became a combat photographer!

Matt really wanted his block's back!
We tried giving him a different toy but it didn't work.

I still have some editing to do on this one.

The wind was blowing, so lucky me I got the wind effect!

Had a hard time not looking mad. The reflector was so bright in my face!

And last but not least my before and after picture. That's why it's still dark, we will have a mirrored image of me holding the baby scruched up at my belly for the after pic. I've seen a few like that and loved them that I had to do one.
