My Two Cutie's

She LOVES the Ham and Cheesy mashed potatoes!

I was sitting at the table and she was on the floor playing next to me and next thing i hear is her snoring, I look down and saw her and then told Wayne to get the camera!

Trying to undress and dress her at the same time...ya she just ended up running off and then eventually got her own pjs off.

When Wayne and I decided to head up to bed this is who we found at the top of the landing. just sitting quietly.

Matt playing Sonic The Headge Hoge on my iPhone and Peyton watching.

Who Needs a Pool?!

Matt is always wanting to play with the hose whenever he is outside. So I got a big pan out and gave it to the kids to fill with water and splash in. Wow they thought that was the best thing ever! Yesterday I got there toy bin and dumped all the toys out and let Matt fill it with water...fun but not big enough for two kids who want to play with it. So I called Wayne and told him to stop at the Exchange and see if they had a pool and to buy it if they did.
Well by the time he got home and had it blown up and the kids in it they were freezing. Matt was so cold his lips were a dark purple and he was shivering so bad. I asked him "Matt are you cold?" Matt replies "Yyyesss" I said well lets get you out and into the warm tub Matt then replies "NOO!!!" and just sits there and shivers until Wayne had to drag him out.
Peyton did NOT like the pool and cried when I stood her in it...she also won't sit in a bath tub either...strange little girl sometimes.
Then we were outside talking with our neighbors and trying to keep an eye on four kids under the age of 3! Well the boys decided to go swimming with there clothes on....then the girls decided they wanted to splash along! Oh well we had fun watching them splash around for awhile before dragging them in to get warm.
We started out with him spraying Peyton. He thought this was great...she did NOT appreciate this.

Then we moved on to filling Peyton's trike.

She liked splashing in this which gave me an idea to let them splash in....

A Pan which they had great fun doing!

They kept fighting over the soccer and basketball...there are all these toys out there and they have to fight over the same one!

"whooow...sooo...coold"

It was actually a lot later out than it looked and it was cold outside. I think all four kids went in last night and went straight into a warm bath.

MSgt Tom Bartlett Awards Ophoto Contest

These are the photos Wayne submitted to win 3rd place for the MSgt Tom Bartlett Award photo contest! He did an awesome job. Especially since this was nation wide for the Marine Corps! When you think about it...all he can really photograph up here are the officers in training....all the other Marines get pictures of Iraq, Afghanistan and all sorts of other places. So I'm very proud of him.

We went to the awards ceremony and wow did we feel out of place, drinking our Pepsi in wine glasses...I think we were the only two not drinking. It was fun and very different, we were the youngest people there. Most every one but two others beside us were in there late 40's and older.
The ceremony was at the Marine Corps Museum and since I haven't been there yet we walked through it...not so fun to do in heels! We had appetizers which included shrimp wrapped in bacon, I made Wayne eat mine. There was beef wellington which I must say is very good, I think Wayne and I each had three. And then there was some..I think zucchini with cheese and tomato's...we didn't even try that one! This was a very...wealthy event. He had friends who wanted to come to support him but 87 dollars a plate was a bit to much for us enlisted. Luckily Wayne and I were guest's and didn't have to pay. The dinner was delicious, it was steak and some kind of fish..I'm not a fish person so I didn't eat that. For dessert is was like a whipped mouse in the shape of a pyramid with strawberries and blueberry on the side...so yummy!
We sat a table with a lady who when she realized we were Mormon was just loving us and telling us how much she admired Mormon's and how much she loved us! Then there was a lady behind us who I over hear talking about Mormon's and how weird they are and "if your not one of them they won't talk to you." So you know I just had to go and introduce my self and that I'm Mormon and I love to talking to people!

The Sesame Street/ USO Experience

So Wayne came home the other day and said he had a surprise for the kids. He pulled out four tickets for Sesame Street Live! He had gone into the travel office at the Exchange for a brochure to Disney World and saw that Sesame Street was coming and best of all that it was free!
So that's where we went today! The past couple days I have been "making" Matt and Peyton watch Sesame Street. They mostly watch Disney. Anyway Matt isn't a big Elmo fan anymore...but Peyton is. I kept telling Matt were going to go see Elmo this week...couple days...tomorrow! Anyway he didn't care about that so I finally said to see Grover....Rosita...Zoe...Cookie Monster? Ahh Cookie Monster is his new favorite! He was so excited today when I said today we get to go see Cookie Monster...BUT, you have to take a nap first. That was the easiest time I have ever had putting him down for a nap. And When Wayne went to wake him to see Elmo I and Cookie Monster he woke up and was ready to get dressed and go!
So it was just get in line and hope for a good seat. We got there early enough that we got seats on the second row! Haha didn't Matter much since it turned into a toddler mosh pit once Elmo came down off the stage! Matt sat in his seat until Cookie Monster came down and then he ran off to see him. Peyton had fun and had the biggest cheesiest smile on her face when all the characters came out on stage...she was squealing and laughing! She had more fun than we thought she would.
We are glad that Sesame Street is touring the bases around the states and supporting the troops. It was much appreciated and very fun for all the kids!

And There Off!

We have been taking the kids to the park in the evening lately to get them out of the house. Well we got another push buggy for Peyton. So we decided to push them in there cars to the park here on base. I think Wayne and I were having more fun than the kids. It was an all out war of bumper cars! The people passing us in there cars either thought we were weird or horrible parents. It really wasn't hard, it's not like were were slamming them into each other!
Anyway we had fun at the park, Peyton still doesn't like the swings and Matt got to play with a puppy!
Then we walked home and raced down the driveway...didn't know all the neighbors were out in there garage's to. The looks on there face when we came racing around the corner, kids screaming and the noise from those plastic tires....that was so fun though!
