Rolling Over

Just a few pics I forgot to upload

I took some video of Peyton rolling over last night. She is still rolling over everytime we put her down on her belly.

First bath in the tub

She screamed the entire time she was in the tub

And the entire time she was being dried off

A bottle always makes everything ok.
Look at all that crazy curly hair!

A smile?

no just gas maybe?

Nope just tired.

Rolling Over!!!

Holy crap, she's only 4 weeks old! She's not supposed to be rolling over yet, but she did. Peyton loves to lay on her belly and look around. Yes she is lifting her head and looking around. She started lifting her head and looking around the room the same day she was born. Anyway I put her down on a blanket to give her some tummy time and she wasn't to happy about this. She was hungry and wanted to be feed an hour ago. I was just about to pick her up when she rolled herself over. So I thought this was just a one time thing so I put her back on her tummy and she rolled over again! Wish I had gotten it on video. I'll have to try it again tomorrow.

Memorial Day

First off I have to say thank you to all those who are serving in the military and have served in the past. A special thank you to my husband who is serving our country in the Marine Corps.
We had a good memorial day. Wayne my mom and I went to see Night at the Museum. We left Matt home with grandpa and took Peyton with us. She did very well and slept through the whole show. Except at the end when the dinosaur roared. That scared her pretty good, her arms flew out and her eyes went bug wide! The movie was really good, a must see in theaters. Later Wayne went with my parents to see Angles and Demon's while I stayed home with the kids. Not my kind of movie, that and I had the flu that day. They all said it was really good.
Later we went to my brothers for a BBQ. I was still sick so I didn't eat to much. Matt had a blast out on the swing set and threw a fit when Wayne brought him in. Oh before I forget thanks JaNell for all the snacks for the flight home. The Cheetos were a lifesaver. And kept us from a few full blown tantrums!
Later we went out to Wayne's brother to say goodbye and then headed home to pack. Unfortunately I didn't get any packing done and had to get up at 2 to leave at 3:30
I was just to sick to pack that night. Luckily I felt better when I woke at 1. So I got up and packed. Unfortunately we didn't get out the door until about 4 and barely made our flight!

Peyton's blessing

Peyton's blessing went really well. My mom missed it though because she had to take poor Matt out into the hall. He is a HUGE daddy's boy these days. As soon as Wayne handed him to my dad he started screaming. But other than that things went well. Thank you Brandie, Brittany, Alyss & Nevin for coming to the blessing.
We had a Hawaiian themed lunch afterwards. It was nice and it stoped raining so all the kids could run around outside and the adults could sit outside and watch them play. Matt decided to hang out with his cousins Katie and Taryn who he wouldn't let out of his site!
So it was a great day with great food and friends and family. Thanks everyone for coming. Thanks Chris and JaNell for coming over to clean mom and dad's. And a big thank you to my parents for all the hard work getting things ready last minuet.

Getting all cleaned up for the big day. This was also her first bath!

Getting her dress on.

She hates clothes being pulled over her head. You'd think we were killing her with the way she screams.

Trying to get those buttons done with one hand!

I need to get her back in her dress and layed out in it so you can see what it really looks like. It's so pretty and long!

Random pictures from our trip home.

We left Matt with grandpa so we could go to the show. This is where we found him when we got home. So cute!

Playing in a box grandpa found for him.

Before the haircut

After the cut, so much better!

She starts crying so what do I do? I grab the camera!

This is the only way he could get her to sleep.

Oh so cute!

Funeral for Grandma Hansen

We were sad to see grandma Hansen go but grateful at the same time. It's good to know she is back with her husband who has been waiting so long for her.
The funeral was nice and it was a beautiful day outside.

Going home for a visit

This last week we went home to UT for a Funeral and decided to bless Peyton while we were home with family. Wayne's grandma passed away and a few days later we were on our way home. We had a great visit and are glad that the family got to see Peyton while she was still little.

Matt's hair after a long day of flying!

Layed Peyton down got a diaper out of the suitcase and when I came back this is what I found.

So I put her straight to bed.

Ready to go after a good nights sleep.

Playing lifeguard at his cousins

Still not ture sure he wants to play with his cousin yet.
