More miscellaneous

Just some miscellaneous pictures of what we've been up to lately.

Haha, yeah definitely siblings!

She fell asleep at my feet by the stove when I was cooking dinner. She wouldn't let me pick her up because she wanted her daddy.

Aww daddy came home and feed her dinner.

Getting ready to go out.

She LOVES to color, and she always brings her music toy so she can listen to music and color. She loves classical music.

She was trying to get her shirt off, she came up to me crying because she got all tangled in her shirt.

Watching Tangled with Matt, he later pulled out his quilt and cuddled up with her. He loves his sissy.

New House On Base

Here are some pictures and video walk through of our new house on base. They had two and a half weeks before we moved in...well the day before we were supposed to move in they called and left a message on my phone saying they needed to pull up all the carpeting upstairs and our move in date had change from that Wednesday to Friday!!! I was so mad! We had been living in a hotel for a month...I'm 7 1/2 months pregnant and have two kids who are tired of living in a hotel. I told Wayne to call them and tell them we will sleep on the mattresses down stairs but that we are moving in the next day! So we moved in the next day and camped out in the front room that night. Surprisingly the kids slept on there own mattresses, we didn't think they would because Peyton got used to sleeping with Wayne and Matt was used to being with me. Well Matt did through a big stink over it but eventually slept on his bed. The next day we had to move the mattresses back into the garage because our new couches and Matt's new bed were being delivered, the people came and redid the carpeting and then Wayne got all the beds made.

The downstairs
The upstairs

Matt's new bed, he didn't like it at first until....
we showed him the "secret" tunnel!

Checking out the view from her window....we had to move the bed away from the window. It was to tempting for her to destroy the blinds.

New Car!!!

Finally!!! I have a new car! We just out grew our saturn ion by one passenger. We saved our taxes and combined some of our moving money a bought a Volvo CX90 turbo, yeah not really a good mix...me + turbo will probably equal my first speeding ticket soon!! My relief society president back in VA, when Wayne was going to school she and her husband would come get me and the kids and take us to the park and just get us out of the house. Anyway they had the same volvo and I LOVED it. So I told Wayne I wanted one, we'll we ended up going home for a funeral and Brother Slater drove us to the airport in there volvo and Wayne really liked it. So when we saw this one for sale we jumped on it. The guy was selling it for 9500 and we talked him down to 9200. I like having my own car now if I need to get out of the house with the kids when Wayne's at work.

Matt checking out the trunk...he thought it was cool he could climb over the seat into the trunk.

Build A Bear

A couple years ago we started taking Matt to Build A Bear for Valentines Day. Well I guess there is no BAB out here on the island....so we decided to get the kids one last animal before leaving and that they could get any outfit they wanted for there animal. We normally don't buy outfits. Matt's first bear got overalls and last year his frog got boardshorts. This was Peyton's first time making an animal. We tried to let her choose which one she wanted, but every animal we held up she would giggle and reach for and hug it. I wanted to get her Hello Kitty because that is the theme of her room, but it was just way to big to put in out suitcase. So we picked out a bunny for her. Matt had a cool camouflage bear picked out until he saw a monkey.
This tradition has ended....it was WAY to much money for two kids, there is no way we can afford to do this with our growing family! Maybe when we come back to the states it will become a birthday tradition...course there birthdays are all so close together!

Hugging the hear for lots of love....

Rubbing the heart on his knee so he can be a fast monkey...

and a kiss for so the monkey is always loved.
Making a wish and putting in the heart.

Peyton's turn.

They gave her a button to push to fill up her bunny

Going Away Dinner with Wayne's co-workers.

We had one of Wayne's going away parties at his work and then his second one was at a Japanese steak house. We had fun and appreciate everyone coming to say goodbye.
Matt and Mrs. Reese, he ended up sitting on almost everybodys lap...he likes new people.

Matt thought the fire was SO cool! I think everyone had more fun watching Matt's reaction than what the chef was doing!

First time using chopsticks....

He's catching on quick!

Trying out the chopsticks...she eventually just used a fork.

They always have you try to catch a piece of food in your mouth...I actually caught it but not till the second try...I hate being stared at. Anyway Matt tried about 5 times but didn't catch anything. The look on his face, he was SO devastated and MAD. So I took a piece of chicken and dropped it in his mouth, he was as happy as could be after that! Everyone thought his devastation and then his excitement after "catching" a piece was so funny. It was...to bad we didn't get it on film.

Some picture I forgot to post

Here are a few pictures I forgot to post. Some from before the move, during and from our stay in UT.

She LOVES to color...

Especially on herself when your not looking! These were NOT washable markers....she was pink for a few days!

Keeping her entertained while I got ready.

The look I got when I told her she was done!

Having some sun chips and watching a movie with mom, we had our own room from the boys...they were watching Spongbob.

eating salt right from the shaker?! I remember doing that when I was little.

While cleaning my parents basement I found my brother's old Superman costume....I claim it as mine...I loved that cape!
So I decided to let Matt try it on since he is getting into all the super heros and such....ya he wanted nothing to do with it.
So I put it on Peyton who didn't want it on until it was on.

Then when Matt saw how fun it was to "fly" he wanted it and then we had kids fighting and screaming over the cape....so I went out and bought all the materials to make them there own capes! Someday I will get around to making them...hopefully before Halloween!
