My Little Dare Devil Girl!
Nickelodeon's Story Time Live!
Well Wayne and I were looking into getting tickets to a Broadway show....and well we did get tickets but not quite what we were looking for. So we ended up taking Matt to Story Time Live. They had Ni hao Ki-Lan, Backyardigans, The Wonder Pets and Dora.
So on the 16th we left Peyton with a baby sitter and headed up to DC with Matt. He was SO excited to see the "real" Ki-lan and Wonder Pets!
So the show started and out comes Ki-Lan and Matt's face went from pure excitement to what the heck is this and who is that? He just had a blank look on his face and you could see it....he's sitting there going that...is NOT Ki-lan! He just sat threw that story and half the Backyardigans with a blank look on his face. Luckily the Backyardigans Story was about Filthingham and when they were getting all cleaned up they had bubble machines blowing bubbles onto the stage. Well Matt's face went from bored to excited and he started giggling and pointing to the bubbles. Well there was a intermission and then.....then it was time for the Wonder Pets Matt's favorite show right now! Now the Wonder Pets he like and kinda got into it. They weren't people dressed in costumes they were people standing behind the costume...think Broadways Lion King. So there were these giant Wonder Pets on stage. Matt loved the Wonder Pets. Next was Dora and she had to save sleeping Boots. Oh...my ..gosh...the little girl behind Wayne and I just...freaked when Dora came out. I mean just screaming, jumping up and down giggling excited. I had a ringing in my ear by the Time Dora was over. It was so funny to see this little girl so excited for it. Matt....well he just sat there...blank look back on his face. But he did sing the Dora them a bit and helped call for map. I had him dancing most of the time then he told me to "quit it!" Well I saw some people recording the end of the show and decided to pull out my camera...shoulda done it during Wonder Pets! Anyway my pictures are blurry because I couldn't use my flash and there is a lady in all the shots....and she had to have her hands up in my one good picture!
So all in all Matt did have a good time because as he and I were waiting for Wayne to take the booster seat back he kept saying "thank you so much mom, thank you so much...it was AMAZING!" "that was my favorite show ever!" I asked him what his favorite story was and he said " let me think..um..(putting his finger and thumb on his chin) the Wonder Pets!) He now watches the videos I took and really gets into it....lil stinker couldn't do it there in front of all those strangers!

Getting ready for church
Matt is finally getting used to the nursery....now that he's almost out of it. Two sundays ago he stayed in nursery the whole two hours...for the first time! This last Sunday he only lasted 15 minuets. So we headed home because Peyton was screaming (teething), Matt was crying and Wayne and I had headaches.
But they sure did look cute!
Such lovely bed head!
Her bangs are now long enough to pull back into her pig tails! i'm so tired of them in her eyes all the time.
I didn't have any cute bows to put on her pig tails so I threw on a headband and flower.
Then I decided it was to cold outside to go with out a onsie and had to undress and re-dress her!
What can I say...boys are just eaiser to get ready!

Happy Easter
We had a great Easter and I hope you all did to. We colored eggs Saturday. Matt had fun once he realized the garbage bag wasn't on him because he was getting a hair cut, but to color eggs!
The kids had a great Easter. Peyton got a Hello Kitty dressed up as a zebra a ball that has glitter in that swishes around when she rolls it and some new duckies for the tub. Matt got a goin fishing game a disk launcher, some bubbles, a ball and a computer game....that won't work on our computer!
Matt this morning wanted one of the eggs he had colored last night. So Wayne handed one to him and said "go show momma what you have" So Matt came running over and said "look mommom, an egg!" and proceeded to crack it right in half, he thought it was a plastic egg! He then said "WOW...that's, that's amazing mom! IT's an egg!" It was so funny and I couldn't stop laughing...which was making my sore throat hurt worse. Later the kids had an egg hunt in the backyard. Matt was to busy playing with his bubbles and just walked around looking at the eggs while blowing bubbles. Peyton found a few and threw one down...she went after the chocolate as soon as she saw it. She likes those cadbury mini eggs! Finally I pulled out an egg and asked Matt what it was...so finally he started collecting all the eggs, it was as he said it "AMAZING!"
