Peyton's hair after a bath!
She has very curly hair when it gets wet. Matt had curly hair until I cut it off. So we will see if it stay as she gets older or if she "grows" out of it.





Her poor head has a HUGE bald spot! Oh well that's what headbands are for right?

Migrains and 2am don't mix!

Ok so this happend a few weeks ago and I had the worst migrane and was SO incrediably tired.

I always put a hot bottle of water under my pillow so when Peyton wakes at 6 I don't have to heat it. Well she woke at 2 and I went to mix the bottle but left her fomula downstairs so I had to go get it. When I got back she was asleep so wrapped the bottle in a blanket in her crib to keep it warm. Well she woke again at 4 and I went and feed her she didn't drink much which I thought was wierd because she usually will drink 4 ounces and I know she hadn't drank even 1. So she woke up again 20 minuets later. I got the bottle and looked to see how much she had drank earlyer and saw that I hadn't mixed the formula in! No wonder she didn't drink more than an ounce, I can't think at 2am with a migrain!

Can't believe she is 5 months already! She is starting to try and low crawl. She gets those legs going but isn't going anywhere. She looks like she is doing to froggy kick.
Here are her stats 14.08 lbs 24 inch and her head is 16. That puts her in the 50th percentile for all three. So her weight went from the 75% to the 50th. She is a happy healthy baby.

"Say Hi?"

Matt has become quite the phone hog lately. Anytime I'm talking on the phone he come up and says "say hi?" These pictures are from when he was talking to his daddy. He likes to talk to grandma Potter because she sings to him.

Powder Boy

While I was changing Matt's diaper the other day he grabbed the powder and started shaking the bottle. I was so busy trying to hurry and get his diaper on that I didn't see him grab the bottle, so next thing I new there was powder EVERYWHERE!

Would you like some popcorn with your salt?

I made Matt some popcorn the other day and then I got a call. Next thing I know Matt is in the room next to me laughing. I look down and he has the popcorn salt bottle upside down pouring out onto the popcorn. He was so proud that he put it on himself he held up the bowl and said "momma see!"

First taste of Pears

Peyton had her first taste of pears.

She didn't like them at all and kept pulling faces.


But Matt LOVED them and ate the whole jar. Now anytime I feed her pears (which she eats now) he come up and says "Bite?"

Matt likes to get in the crib with Peyton and lay under the mobile with her. The other night he wanted to sleep in there with her and threw the bigest fit because I had him come sleep in my bed...I didn't want him sneaking out of his room and into her bed.
