Dole plantation

Ready to go out for the day.

When it rains these mountains will get all these little water falls. It's very pretty to drive through.

We didn't even make it in the door before we were spending money on pearls!

Matt thought the oyster was gross looking.

Because we made a jewelry purchase with our pearl we got to open a second oyster for free...it had two pearls in it!

I decided to wait on putting the other two in a jewelry setting...it was just to expensive.

Lunch! Teriyaki Chicken, sticky rice and a salad that was SO yummy!

Mmmm she liked the pineapple.

We took the flowers from our lunch and put them in Peyton's hair...so cute!

Going for a train ride...Matt was so excited to go on the train.

Our first few weeks here on the Island.

Our lil room we lived in for a month...at least we had a partial kitchen.

They had a VERY tiny playground at the hotel.

The view you get when coming over to the base.

First time for Peyton at the beach.

trying to scope up sand without moving...she didn't like on the sand on her hands or feet.

playing in the sand with daddy.

Cali to Hawaii!!

Finally the day had come....our finally leg of our move from CA to HI! Matt was SO excited to go on the plane to Hawaii. We decided to ship his big car seat in the saturn and buy a booster for the plane....ya they aren't allowed to use boosters on the plane. And of Peyton and I got colds the day before our flight so she was a bit ornery. Matt is such a mommas boy and said I had to sit by him on the plane, good thing Peyton is such a daddy's girl....she didn't miss me...that and she slept most of both the flight.
Left LA around 1pm flew up to Seattle and flew to HI from there. We landed at about 9:30 and made it to the hotel at about 11? The airlines for some reason decided to send all the bags but mine to HI, lucky me! My bag got sent to Tennessee or some place around there?! Anyway the next day I ran to the store to buy some clothes and toiletries and then the next day my bag showed up...I was so glad to have it back.
We lived in the Lodge on MCBH for a month! Not the funnest thing for a pregnant woman who is in her 7th month and two kids under the age of 4. But we made it through the month and had fun exploring things to do and going to the beach...a LOT

Backpacks on and there ready to go!

She decided she didn't like her bag, so I took it off. As soon as it was off she wanted it back on...silly girl.

Matt thought it was cool that there are mountains in the sky!

One more flight to go!

Looking a little bored.

I think they've had enough of being on the plane...what do you think?

UT to Cali

Next on our way to Hawaii we drove to California. We got up really early and drove straight to San Diego, the next day we went to Sea World. The kids had fun for the most part. Matt was ready to go once we saw the sharks...which was the first thing we saw! The dolphins weren't doing a show that day so I was a bit bummed about that, so we went and saw the sea lions, the kids enjoyed that and thought it was a fun show. By the time it was time to see Shamu the kids had had enough and were tired, ornery and ready to go. I didn't get to see any of the show thanks to a little girl who insisted on screaming as LOUD as she could once it finally started...oh well maybe next time.
After Sea World we drove up to LA. The next day Wayne took the car to be shipped to Hawaii and spent the day relaxing in the hotel.

VA to UT

WOW what a LONG drive it was to get from VA to UT with two little kids. Luckily we bought a dvd player for the car and Matt got a new Nintendo DS. We've since hidden the DS since he became addicted to it 24/7.
We had stayed a few nights up at my cousins near DC while we were in the move out process. On February 4th we started our drive to UT, we got up and left at 5:30 in the morning and drove to Lexington KY to stay the night with Wayne's cousins. The kids had fun running around and playing with cousins. The next day we drove to St. Louis and stayed the night there so Wayne could see one of his old friends from Lejuene. We took the kids swimming which was so fun for them after being in the car all day.
The next day we drove to WY....the LONGEST drive EVER! Not fun with a little girl who has a cold and can scream really loud and four hours on end...that and with an almost 7 month pregnant woman.....poor Wayne!
Finally on the 7th we made it to UT. When we were driving into Brigham Matt recognized where we were and said look mom it's Grandpas and grandmas mountains! He was SO excited to finally be there and was even more excited when we pulled up to the house! To bad grandma and grandpa were at work....he was a bit mad they weren't home.
So we stayed for a month and visited with Friends and family and just tried to relax before the next drive to Cali.

Trying to keep the kids entertained and contained in Matts room while the packers packed up the house.

Matt and his new DS

There last meal at the house, and watching TS3 on the iPad

Hawaii

We are finally here in Hawaii! We drove from Quantico VA to UT & stayed at my parents for a month. It was good to see family & friends. On the 2nd of March we drove to San Diego, spent a day at Sea World & then drove to LA. We dropped our car off to be shipped to Hawaii & on the 5th flew to Seattle & then to Hawaii.
We are right now living at The Lodge on base, it's pretty nice has a small kitchen so we can have some meals here. No stove so we are limited to what we can cook. Right now we're just trying trying to find things to do...that we can do with young kids.
My good photos are all on my camera & we have no computer right now. If your on facebook you can see all my (iphone) photos there. I will post pictures as soon as I can.

It's a ......BOY!!!

So Hansen baby #3 is a boy!! We are excited for him to get here. Now the baby name battle will really get going, Wayne and I like two different names and the one that we do both agree on we like different spellings. So we'll see what happens with the name game.
Normally up at Ft Belvoir there not supposed to do 4D ultrasounds but the tech said the baby was in such a good position that she would take a few photo's for us.
So here he is!

Last week Wayne and I went shopping and got the baby this home coming outfit. we didn't know yet what the baby was and we figured this was good for a boy or girl....I was hoping for a boy because I thought this would be cuter for a boy.

My mini me's!

Most of the time I still think they look like Wayne but then every once in awhile I see a lot of me in them....besides there attitudes, which is starting to scare me! I know I'm always saying it but that's because it's just so fun for me. But when you don't have any family that looks like you it's fun to look at there pictures and compare them to when you were little.
